Trace is getting big !! he looks like he had another growth spurt. His head looks to be about counter height if not over. I feel bad for putting child locks on EVERYTHING, but he does not take to the word “no” too well. Besides the typical fits he does have just like many toddlers he is doing better. He is gaining in vocabulary every day. He is more of a self taught person it seems. We could try to instruct him until our faces are blue but he picks and chooses what he wants to learn from the television. I am glad he is interested in the learning programs, but will get annoyed of watching after a while. Every day he will learn something new like a word or phrase. He learned all about trick or treating from Dora the explorer. Many words are picked up through spongebob though. He has fun when he watches Blue’s clues and interacts with it. He will learn from other people too but just not through mommy so much but that is because I tweak the things he has already learned. Between his father and I we work on tweaking his counting and alphabet. We work on pronouncing his words and advancing his manners and communication. This is such a task but we know that he will be great. We are already thinking of starting him slightly later in school because he has not had socialization like the other kids who attend daycare, even though he can count higher and do more advanced things than a kid his age can do.
It seems he is taking to his new little brother very well. He likes to be a part of changing and feeding on his own terms, but participates on his own. He seems to be affectionate towards his brother at least once or twice a day. He will stroke his head and lay his head on Dannon’s forehead. It is nice to see this.
Trace’s b-day is coming up. It will be spongebob theme of course. He will be getting something good for his gifts from us. Have not decided what yet but we are looking into some gaming/ learning system.
Pictures are now online! We’ll be posting some more recent ones soon.
Pictures are currently missing due to me moving the website. Check back again in a couple days and I’ll have them back online.
